Christian Heads To All-Star Game
Tulsa Oilers team captain and leading scorer Jeff Christian has been selected to the Central Hockey League All-Star team that will play the Colorado Eagles on January 14th, in Loveland Colorado.
The CHL has revised its all-star format this season with the host Eagles playing a team of all-stars from the rest of the league. Of the 15 teams making up the all star team, only Oklahoma City, Odessa and Laredo had two representatives, with all other teams, including the Oilers, getting one player on the squad.
“I’m excited. I love going to these things. It’s a lot of fun, you see the guys, you joke with the guys, we’ll have a good time,” Christian said.
This is his third CHL all-star game and fourth overall. Christian leads the Oilers in goals (14), assists (28), and points (42). He has 13 multiple point games this season.
