6 Oh No!

The Tulsa Oiers suffered their first shutout of the season, 6-0 at the hands of the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Sunday at the BOK Center.

Six different players scored for Bossier-Shreveport. Mark Johnson, David Pszenyczny, Scott Kalinchuk, and Joe Blaznek scored in the first period to stake Bossier-Shreveport to a 4-0 lead. David Rutherford, and Jeff Kyrzakos added goals in the second period. The teams skated through a a scoreless third period.

Prior to the game the Oilers signed goaltender Marco Emond, who had played with the Oilers in 2005-06, and right wing Luke Stauffacher. They released goaltender Francois Lemay and left winger Brett Liscomb.

The Oilers next game is Wednesday at Wichita at 7:05 p.m.
