Oilers Top Blazers 3-2
Goaltender Clint Chalmers made 37 saves in posting his professional victory while leading the Tulsa Oilers to a 3-2 win over the Oklahoma City Blazers Friday night. After Dallas Flaman gave Oklahoma City a lead midway through the first period, the Oilers got three straight goals from Josh Garbutt, Paul Kelly and Martin Kabaliak. For Kelly, it extended his scoring streak to five games, and Kabaliak scored his first goal in his first game with the Oilers. D.J. Jiletto scored his first goal in his first game with Oklahma City at 12:20 of the second period, but Chalmers shut the door the rest of the way. He stopped all 13 shots he faced in the third period to preserve the win. The Oilers host the Mississippi RiverKings Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Fans can get vouchers good for a free ticket at area Arby's restaurants.
