Home Opener At Last!

Homecoming:

The Tulsa Oilers will have their home opener this week after concluding a four game road trip on Tuesday. The Oilers will visit the Mississippi RiverKings Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.The Oilers then begin the home portion of their schedule hosting the arch rival Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:35 p.m.

I Know You:

Fans will see many familiar faces leading into Friday’s game. The Oilers theme this year, “A Legendary Past….A Promising Future” will have several former Oiler players, joined by Tulsa Youth Hockey players taking part in the pregame introductions.

Tough Trip:

The Oilers dropped both games last week in Colorado, losing to the Colorado Eagles 6-2 on Wednesday and losing 4-1 on Friday to the Rocky Mountain Rage, with the last goal being scored into an empty net.

SoCo After:

Following Friday’s home opener fans 21 and older can meet the Oiler players at SoCo’s Sports Bar & Grill, located at 81st and Harvard.

3 Straight:

Center Paul Kelly has scored one goal in each of the Oilers three games this season. He leads the team in scoring with three goals, one assist for four points.

Barth Start:

Defenseman Chris Barth leads the Oilers with two assists, a +2 rating and 11 PIM.

Puck Stopper:

Goaltender Kevin St. Pierre has a .912 save percentage in the Oilers first three games.
