Oilers Trim Roster To 18
Tulsa Oilers head coach Butch Kaebel has trimmed the team’s roster to 18 players, in preparation for the club’s 16th season of play in the Central Hockey League. The Oilers begin the regular season on Friday October 19th at Amarillo in a game that will be broadcast on KRVT AM 1270. Their home opener is slated for Friday November 2nd against Oklahoma City. The Oilers who will be on the opening day roster: Goaltenders: Clint Chalmers, Kevin St. Pierre Defense: Chris Barth, Andrew Derton, Josh Garbutt, Rob Guinn, Arthrur Kiyaga, Andrew Lackner Right Wing: Jeff Christian, Mat Goody, Kai Magnussen, Denis Sicard Center: Brendon Hodge, Paul Kelly, Brent McMann Left Wing: David Alexandre Beauregard, Lance Herauf, Corey Rutt “It was an intense camp and I’m confident we’ve got the players who will show up and battle every night,” Kaebel said. Oiler season tickets for the 2007-08 season are now on sale. The prices range from $300 to $475.
