Oilers Taking Part in Children’s Expo This Saturday

TULSA, OK – The Tulsa Oilers will be one of many exhibitors at the second annual OK Play! Children’s Expo on Saturday, June 9 at the Tulsa Convention Center.

The free event, from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., features hundreds of vendors and the Oilers will be on site with players, staff, Ice Girls, and team mascot, Sledge.  Kids can come learn how to shoot a puck at the Oilers slap-shot booth, take pictures with players, receive autographs, win prizes, and much more!

The Oilers will be part of the Sports and Fitness Zone which will include several sports teams as well as exhibits designed to teach kids about exercise and healthy choices.

In addition to meeting the Oilers, kids will be entertained by inflatables, clowns, magicians, live music, and a variety of hands-on exhibits.  Families can also walk through several educational areas such as the science zone, nutrition zone, and art zone.

Kids can meet some of their favorite cartoon characters while learning about summer camps and other programs offered by local schools and community centers.
