Special Game 7 Guest

For most of his flamboyant National Hockey League career Garry Unger wore uniform number seven. Now, number seven will be on hand as the Tulsa Oilers host their seventh watch party of the Stanley Cup final Friday night at the Scoreboard Lounge inside the River Spirit Casino at 81st and Riverside.

Appropriately, the game begins at 7 p.m.

“I really enjoyed myself the other night and it was great visiting with all the fans,” Unger, who watched part of game six between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings at the Oilers watch party. “I’m really looking forward to the next game.”

Unger scored more than 400 goals and at one time held the NHL’s Ironman record in his career. He coached the Oilers to the CHL championship in 1993.

Season tickets for the Oilers 2009-10 season in the BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
