Scrub A Dub Dub!

Recent rains and splashing mud have dirtied thousands of cars in the greater Tulsa area and on Sunday the Tulsa Oilers Ice Girls will be doing their part to bring the beauty back.

The Ice Girls will be holding a car wash on May 23rd from 3-6 p.m. at the Oilers Ice Center located at 64th and Mingo.

Vehicle washes will be available on a donation basis. All vehicles are welcome.

“I know a lot of people have had to put up with a lot of splashes and spots on their cars this week” Ice Girls coordinator Jessica Barrett said. “So this will be a great way to get your car washed, visit with our girls, and get information about trying out for next year’s Ice Girls team.”

The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL this season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 32 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season.

Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
