The Colorado Eagles established a new team record for goals in a game by beating the Tulsa Oilers 11-6 on Friday night in Colorado.
The Oilers had six different goal scorers in the wild affair, with David Alexandre Beauregard, Marty Standish, Jake Riddle, Troy Riddle, and Sean Erickson all scoring. Colorado got two goals each from Kevin Ulanski, and Ed McGrane. Ulanski also had three assists giving him 103 points on the season. Other Colorado goals came from Steve Haddon, Riley Nelson, Ryan Tobler, Jim Jackson, Mario Joly, Ryan McLeod and Aaron Schneekloth, who also had five assists.
The loss leaves the Oilers five points behind the Mississippi RiverKings for fourth place, and two points back of the Missouri Mavericks for fifth place, and the final playoff spot in the Northern Conference.
The same two teams play Saturday night in Colorado at 8:05 Central time.
