Nichols Top Trainer
Tulsa Oilers trainer Stuart Nichols, A.T.C., L.A.T. has been named the Central Hockey League’s trainer of the year. Nichols earned the honor in voting conducted among the trainers in the league.
And although he didn’t vote, Oilers coach Bruce Ramsay wasn’t surprised at the outcome.
“Stuart’s the best,” Ramsay said. “We’ve certainly had our share of challenges in the injury department this season, but Stuart always has our guys ready to go. He has all the answers.”
Nichols is in his third tour of duty with the Oilers having first come to the team in 1999. He was selected to work the CHL all star game in Oklahoma City in 2003.
The Oilers continue a six game road trip tonight in Colorado at 8:05 Central time.
