There was more than hockey talk in the air at the Tulsa Oilers Hockey Happy Hour coach’s show Monday night at Indigo Joe’s Sports Bar and Restaurant. During the weekly visit with Oilers coach Bruce Ramsay, Jason Johnson asked longtime Oiler fan Deanna Davidson to marry him.

In one of his easiest pieces of coaching advices, Ramsay suggested, “Say yes.” She did.

Davidson has been a regular attendee of the Oilers’ coach’s shows for years. Johnson wanted to ask the question in an setting that would be special and surprise her.  He did.

The Oilers play Wednesday and Friday at Wichita and Missouri respectively. They return home to host Bossier-Shreveport in two straight games Saturday at 7:35 p.m. and Sunday at 4:05p.m.
