Foot And Mouth…
Tulsa Oilers broadcaster Steve McCall has demonstrated he can move his mouth quickly in his 19 years as a hockey broadcaster, and now he will be trying to do the same with his feet, for a good cause.
McCall and five other Tulsa personalities are taking part in Hospitality House of Tulsa’s inaugural fundraising gala and celebrity dance competition, “A Time to Dance with our Stars”, Saturday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at Central Center in Centennial Park, 1028 E. 6th Street, Tulsa.
“We’re very excited about this event, and are grateful to have the participation of such amazing celebrities, professional dancers, and supporters, who are joining together to raise funds and awareness for families in medical crisis,” says Toni Moore, Hospitality House President & CEO, “This event is based on Ecclesiastes 3, where we learn there is a time for everything – a time to be born, a time to die, a time to laugh, a time to cry, a time to mourn. Our families at Hospitality House experience many of these times. But on September 11th, it’s time to dance!”
McCall and his partner, Sarah Hamilton, a professional dance instructor of Allstar Ballroom Dance Company, will be performing a waltz. Oiler fans can vote for Hamilton and McCall by texting to 27297 and entering selection number 6 (standard text message rates apply). Everyone who sends a text will receive a free coupon from Arby’s.

The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL last season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 33 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season, starting on Friday October 15th against the Wichita Thunder
Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
