Bossier-Shreveport Bugs Oilers, 3-2
The Tulsa Oilers dropped a hard fought 3-2 contest to the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Sunday at the BOK Center. The loss leaves the Oilers in sixth place in the Northern Conference.
Each team scored once in the first two periods. Simon Mangos had a pair of power play goals for Bossier-Shreveport while Luke Stauffacher scored his first goal as an Oiler and Troy Riddle had a short handed goal.
Tyrel Lucas had the lone goal of the third period, that stood up as the game winner for Bossier-Shreveport which has now won eight straight games.
The Oilers resume action Wendesday March 3rd at home against the Mississippi RiverKings. Season ticket holders will note that game (game 30) in their season ticket holder booklet has a date of March 2nd. The date was adjusted after the season ticket booklets were printed. Season ticket holders should use their tickets dated March 2nd for Wednesday’s game.
