Red Cross Gets Oilers Assist
The Oilers will also be helping the American Red Cross with its efforts to aid Haitian earthquake victims this weekend. At both games this weekend (Friday’s game with Wichita and Sunday’s 4:05 p.m. game with Rio Grande Valley) fans at the game who make a $10 donation to the Red Cross effort by text messaging the word “Haiti” to number 90999 will also receive a free ticket to a future Oilers game. Fans will simply take their text message confirmation to the Oilers Fan Assistance Center to receive their free ticket.
“This is certainly an event that’s bigger than hockey and we want to encourage our fans to do their part to help the Red Cross in its efforts to help the earthquake victims,” Oilers General manager Taylor Hall said. “The 10 dollar donations are really adding up and making a big difference.”
The Oilers have three games this weekend, playing Saturday at Wichita in between Friday night’s and Sunday afternoon’s home games at the BOK Center.
Tickets for all Oilers games are available at the BOK Center box office or by calling 1-866-7-BOK CTR (726-5287). Tickets can also be purchased on line at www.tulsaoilers.com and at area Reasor’s Grocery Stores.
