Oilers Bucked By Mavericks, 4-1

The Missouri Mavericks moved into a tie with the Tulsa Olers for fifth place in the Central Hockey League with a 4-1 victory over the Oilers Thursday night at the Independence Events Center.

It took only 1:17 for David Alexandre Beauregard to score on his return to the Oilers. But it wasn’t enough as Missouri got goals from Braden Walls, Brett Hammond, Jeff MacDermid and an empty net goal from Karl Sellan to claim its first four game winning streak in franchise history.

The Oilers play at Bossier-Shreveport Friday at 7:05 p.m.
