Eagles Squeak By Oilers Again

For the third time this season, the Colroado Eagles escaped the BOK Center with a one goal victory, defeating the Tulsa Oilers 4-3 Tuesday night.  The loss ended a two game winning streak for the Oilers.

Adam Hogg and Ryan Tobler scored first period goals for Colorado and Jake Riddle answered one back for the Oilers with the only  goal of the second period.

Fireworks started early in the third period. Tobler got his second goal of the game just six seconds into the period on a power play.  Dan Reidel got the Oilers back within one just 1:38 later. Ed McGrane scored Colorado’s second power play goal of the game to go up 4-2 with 14:37 left.  Marty Standish finished the wild finish, rounding out the scoring making four goals in the first seven and a half minutes.

The Oilers play at Allen Thursday and return home to host Mississippi Friday night at 7:35. at the BOK Center.
