Oilers Thunder Struck, 4-1

The Tulsa Oilers lost 4-1 to the Wichita Thunder Friday night at the BOK Center, ending Wichita’s CHL record 22 game winless streak, in which wichita went 0-20-2.

Dan Riedel scored for the Oilers with only 24 seconds left in the first period, his third goal in the last two games.

But Wichita got two in the second from Paul Kelly, and Ryan Campbell, and then Shane Foster scored midway through the third period, and kevin cooper scored into an empty net to round out the scoring.

The same two teams play Saturday in Wichita at 7:05 p.m. in the first hockey game to be played in Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena.
