Late Goal Sinks Oilers, 3-2

The tusa Oilers dropped their second straight 3-2 game when Matt Zultek’s goal with 47.2 seconds left lifted the Rapid City Rush to a 3-2 win Friday in Rapid City.

Jon Pelle had given the Rush the lead with the only goal fo the first period, and the Oilers took a 2-1 lead on goals by Mike Beausoleil, and Brendon Hodge in the first four minutes of the second period. Gio Flamminio’s powere play goal with jsut over two minutes left in the second period, tied the game, setting the stage for Zultek’s dramatic late goal.

The Oilers play at Rocky Mountain Sturday at 8:05 p.m. Central time.
