Oilers Win Second Straight

Jake Riddle lifted a shot over Wylie Rogers on a power play 1:04 into overtime and lifted the Tulsa Oilers to a 3-2 win over the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees Tuesday night.

The goal gave the Oilers their second straight win, the first time Tulsa has won back to back games all season. He also had an assist in the game.

Jeff Christian and Brendon Hodge each matched Riddle’s output of a goal and assist. Brett McConnachie also scored for the Oilers , stretching his point streak to four games.

Topher Scott scored twice and Jesse Bennefield also socred for Rio Grande Valley. Bennefield now has a 10 game point streak.

The Oilers continue a five game homestand Thursday hosting the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs at 7:05 p.m.
