All Too Familiar

For the third time in the last four games the Tulsa Oilers dropped a 5-4 decison, this time to the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Friday night.

After Bobby Reed gave the Oilers the lead, Bossier-Shreveport answered with first period goals from Travis Clayton, Joe Blaznek and Chris Brassard.

Brendon Hodge scored his first of two goals, in the first minute of the second period But just over three minutes later Blaznek answered with his second of the night. Hodge got the Oilers back within one with just three seconds left in the second period.

Joe Ori of Bossier-Shreveport and Jeff Christian of the Oilers traded third period goals. The Oilers host Mississippi Saturday night at 7:35 p.m.
