Late Goals Burn Oilers, 2-1

The Tulsa Oilers gave up two goals jsut 56 seconds apart with less than six minutes to go in the third period and fell to the Missouir Mavericks 2-1 Tuesday ngiht at the BOK Center.

Chad Costello’s second period goal lifted him inot sole possession of thrid place in the CHL scoring race and gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead. But a third period power play goal by Nick Siroat followed 56 seconds later by a deflection by Toby Lafrance rallied Missouri for the victory.

The Oilers play at Allen on Friday night at 7:35. They will play on Saturday, New Years Day at the BOK Center against Texas in a game time that has been changed to 3 p.m.
